Five years ago this week, the bricks to build this baby were delivered to Orcas Island. We spent several weekends over the next year and a half building our first wood-fire kiln. You’d be amazed at how much flexibility and co-ordination is needed for nine potters on one small island to find a common time to meet 😂 👏 Cheers to our 8th firing with a group of potters I am so grateful to call friends!
